Value management

Driving Sustainable Value with the Enterprise Value Map™

Our goal is to create sustainable value

In a market where complexity, competition, and volatility go hand in hand, organizations are looking for ways to create sustainable value. Not only for shareholders, but for all stakeholders: employees, customers, partners, and regulators.

As a Value Management Consultant, I help organizations link strategic choices, operational performance, and investment portfolios to tangible value creation. In doing so, I make intensive use of Deloitte’s Enterprise Value Map™, a powerful, internationally recognized framework that directly guides organizations towards Enterprise Value Growth.

What is the Enterprise Value Map™?

The Enterprise Value Map™ (EVM), developed by Deloitte, translates complex business realities into one clear, visual, and strategic framework. The EVM links initiatives, investments, and improvement programs directly to the four fundamental drivers of enterprise value:

  1. Revenue Growth
  2. Operating Margin
  3. Asset Efficiency
  4. Expectations Management

These value drivers are then connected to concrete Improvement Levers and Actions, from strategic choices to tactical optimizations. This makes it possible to:

  • Structure complex transformation programs
  • Prioritize project portfolios based on “value impact”
  • Offer C-level stakeholders a shared strategic framework
  • Strengthen business cases with data-driven value projections
  • Accelerate and make strategy execution measurable

In short: the EVM makes value creation clear, measurable, and manageable.

From strategy to realization: how Value Management works

Identify Value Drivers

With the help of the EVM, we identify which of the four value drivers have the greatest impact on your organization. We analyze financial performance, market dynamics, and competition, just as Deloitte’s approach demonstrates.

Determine Improvement Levers

Improvement levers are defined according to three main objectives:

  • Process Effectiveness & Efficiency
  • Capital Asset Productivity
  • Strategic Capability Development

These levers provide direction for the tactics that unlock your value potential.

Define Human Capital & Organizational Enablers

Since human capital is central to every value creation process, we evaluate dimensions such as:

  • Strategic HR Alignment
  • Organizational Capability
  • Talent Deployment & Workforce Planning
  • Change Leadership & Culture

This creates the organizational strength to execute strategy effectively.

Select Improvement Actions

Concrete actions, from cost optimization and process redesign to product and channel innovation, are selected based on their contribution to Total Shareholder Return (TSR) and long-term value.

Build a Value-Based Portfolio

We prioritize projects based on “Value vs. Risk” so that resources are directed to initiatives that really matter.
As in the Deloitte case studies: Do Now, Reassess, Maintain, Explore.

Execute & Monitor with Value Dashboards

Via dashboards, we monitor progress, ROI, and alignment with strategic goals. This keeps your organization focused on realizing measurable value.

Why organizations collaborate with me

With my experience in Lean, Agile, Value Management, Negotiations, and Interim Leadership, I help companies not only improve but transform.

Organizations choose my approach because it:

  • Is strategic and very concrete
  • Is value-driven: every action creates demonstrable value
  • Strengthens stakeholder alignment (C-level, operations, HR)
  • Helps structure complex transformations
  • Works in both stable and dynamic (Agile) environments
  • Often results in performance improvements in Revenue, Margin, Efficiency, and Stakeholder Confidence

So you don’t get generic consultancy, but tailor-made advice that directly contributes to enterprise value.
